BRIAN WALLACE

Brian began perfecting the art of recording long before he founded Rockwell Sounds in 2002. As a kid, he made countless cassettes of sounds, songs, and stories as audible postcards to his grandparents. In high school, he played the saxophone in rock and jazz bands and produced weekly news broadcasts for his school. By the time he was in college, he was programming at KLON 88.1 fm, a nationally syndicated radio station and recording with bands all over Los Angeles, including Sublime. Since 1997, he has been composing, conducting, playing, and recording his own music in Atascadero, which has been home to his family since 1945. Musicians come from all over the country to record with Brian because of his music industry experience, his collaborative methods, and his innate respect for the artist.

The role of the recording engineer is to enhance your sound for the commercial marketplace. Whether your project is spoken word, a musical recording, or a film project, we have the experience and the facilities to make it a success.

Testimonials from clients:

"Brian gets it. He's been there.
I won't record with anyone else."
"Sure there's a lot of good gear out there,
but it doesn't replace the exacting ear of the recording engineer who brings it all together.
Brian brings industry experience to our session that is invaluable."
"Brian understands what I'm trying to do in the studio. Our band jams there because Brian gives us great feedback."
"Brian has everything I need. He was so relaxed. Brian helped me work through my ideas until I got what I wanted from the session. "
" I love working at the studio. It's a fun place to hang out. And when we need to take a break, the park is right across the street, or we can go grab some food around the corner. It's a great location, and Brian is so chill, we can take our time to get the right track."
